CRNA Week |
Since 2000, National CRNA Week has been the AANA's annual celebration of our nation’s CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists and Nurse Anesthesia Residents. DANA celebrates the state's CRNAs through various events and activities during the week. Don't miss out! CRNA week events will return during CRNA Week 2027, from January 17 - January 23, 2027. CRNA Week events include: Dover DayEach year, DANA representatives and CRNA members visit the Delaware Legislative Hall to advocate for CRNA practice and recognition. Attendees are introduced on the Senate and House of Representatives floor and meet with several legislators to educate them about our profession. This annual excursion ensures that laws around the practice continue to evolve to make the practice safer for patients and provides appropriate protections for practitioners. This event is free to attend, but requires an RSVP. Registration will open later this year! Hands-On Skills Workshop2027 will mark the 2nd annual CRNA Week Hands-On Skills workshop, where attendees can get hands-on training on a variety of topics important for CRNAS. In 2026, topics included Invasive Line, Spinal and Epidural, Airway, and US-Guided IV Insertion. Open to CRNAs and Residents, this event offers valuable education and training that ensures the future of the practice remains strong. Attendee and Sponsor/Exhibitor Registration will open later this year. Stay tuned! RecognitionAs a part of CRNA Week, DANA recognizes the hard work of those in the profession, and encourages others to get involved. Whether encouraging the hardworking critical care nurses in ICUs across the state with a surprise doughnut delivery, or kicking back at a CRNA Week happy hour, DANA works to dedicate time for CRNAs, RRNAs and affiliate RNs to relax and spend time together.
